Fine… not quite what it looked like on the website. Check not very friendly. Room average, the en suite was in need of some improvement. Breakfast was ok, but not great.

Husband and I pooped I’m on spec for hot drinks and cake. The staff were so lovely and helpful, drinks were really nice and the cakes fresh and delicious, really good prices also, great value for money. The decor is really quirky and full of character. I highly recommend.

What a lovely staff team you have here. We were visiting the area, out walking, got very cold and in need of a warm drink. The Gueat House wasn't actually open, but the lovely lady invited us in for a delicious hot chocolate. Thank you so much for your kindness x

Really needs a thorough cleaning, furniture seen better days. Although bedding clean they must have noticed the hole in the pillowcase?
In the area for breakfast, because of the very dark walls and lack of light though the windows, we asked for the light to be put on, told there was a problem!. Other guests stated they had no light working in their bathroom. Apart from being met by a very friendly staff member, there was no staff around to ask if you needed anything or even to say goodbye to , as you left your key in the room.
Definitely glad we were staying only one night.
This whole place needs a good 'fettle'
Hope the owners make a bit more effort as there are definitely better places to stay around the area, just wished we had chosen one of them!!!

Janet and Julie really saved us when we arrived late at night desperate for somewhere to stay. Not only did Janet come down to give us a room, she also poured us a drink, stayed for a chat and made us feel very welcome. We weren’t made to feel that it was an inconvenience at all and are very grateful for that!
The lavender room was gorgeous and the eggs Royale for breakfast was delicious!
Thank you for a lovely stay!

The building itself is quite beautiful and the interior is even better. Lovely old wooden floors and the decor is very fitting for a building over 120 years old. Our room was small but cute and decorated well. Breakfast was really good and was included in the price. The view from the top floor is amazing.

Really great stay at the Old Registry, the location is perfect at the bottom of Haworth high street with parking at the old hall just a two minute walk away. We stayed in the pears room which is an attic room, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with the bonus of a great view over the park. Leanne, her partner and all of the staff were very friendly, creating a really nice atmosphere for a drink and food, the Yorkshire breakfast is really good as are the sharing boards. Great value for the price too. We will definitely be returning to the Old Registry and would thoroughly recommend a stay.

We have absolutely loved our stay at The old registry. ❤️ such a welcoming place, breakfast very delicious 😋 and they were happy to accommodate my request that wasn't on the menu.
Very comfortable bed, very clean and well equipped.
The biggest bonus is that everything is on the doorstep. You can come and go as you please stepping straight onto the lovely main Street and a stones throw from gorgeous walks across the moors. We saw the most spectacular rainbow 🌈
We will be back!!!
Thanks

Had a nice welcome and allowed us to put our bags there before we checked in, which we appreciated. Beautiful shops surrounding the guest house.
Upon entering our room, there was no heating, and it was freezing. However, there was an electric floor heater, but it took forever to warm the room. The radiators didn't come on till a lot later, and to be honest, it was too cold in the vast bathroom to use the lovely bath.
We paid to have the bottomless brunch and were very disappointed. The pizza was burnt, and the dough balls inedible, in all fairness, they did offer to replace it, but we declined as they weren't the best.
The cocktails were on tap and did not have the same taste as a made to order one. The table next to us even gave us their bottle of red wine as they didn't like it,we didn't try it.
Comfortable bed. However, the room needs some TLC,dusty wallpaper peeling, and the curtains fell off the pole. Breakfast was good. However, could have had a little more choice for the continental breakfast.
Upon checking, we paid our bill, and nothing was mentioned about the food. However, they kindly let us leave our bags while we nipped into the shops.
Staff were nice and friendly but don't think I would return.

Great location at a decent price.
We stayed in the lilac room, which was the attic room. The toilet seat was always coming off when sat on! The bathroom was lovely but if you are a bit unsteady on your feet, the free standing bath with overhead shower wouldn't be for you. Also no bath mat to put in the bath in case of slipping.
Quite tired inside the hotel could do with a paint and clean tbh! The doors very grubby and sticky.
The breakfast was nice but needed to be hotter. The tables could do with a scrub, very sticky.
The staff very friendly couldn't pick fault there at all.
At £148 for 2 nights not bad but it really does need some TLC

A perfect place to stay for your stay in 'Bronte country'.
Clean, well appointed characterful rooms assuring you of a comfortable stay.
The full English breakfast I had was top quality, using locally sourced ingredients and was served with the very best Northern hospitality. Lots of other breakfast choices to suit all tastes and dietary needs.
The management are always flexible and willing to assist with your individual needs.

Really lovely place to stay for a visit to Harworth. Located at the bottom of the hill and a short wander all Howarth has to offer. No car park but you can park at another Inn 2 minute walk away and safe parking. Very oldie worldie in side with a great atmosphere. Rooms are fabulous and well equipped. Staff are all very pleasant and helpful nothing too much trouble. Great breakfast to top it off. We didn't eat there but did enjoy the 2 cocktails for £10 offer. Drinks are reasonable and nice to sit on the front and people watch. Would go again and highly recommend.

We stayed here 20 years ago, so it was a bit of a nostalgic trip. Different owners now, but very pleasant people. The breakfast was first class, the room was very olde worldy, with a big 4 poster bed , very nice. We stayed in the Tudor room, and although it overlooked a busy road, it wasn't noisy at all.
Unfortunately, we booked the wrong dates, none of the attractions , Bronte parsonage museum, steam railway etc. were open until later in the week, so if your thinking of going best check opening times, and maybe book a slot on line before you go.
